Body art is an art made in the human body.  The most used techniques in Body art are tattos, Body piercing, scarification, scalpelling and body painting.

Now-a-days it is fashionable thing to give body art on the body.  It should be takne care that the art has been done by using correct needle and colours if you are going for tattoo.  Many dieseases also crop with this tattoo if not done perfectly.

It has been considered as a fashion by piercing or tattoos.

Before you get the tattoo, the artist will definitely shave your calf and later the the hair will grow over the tattoo and it will blend in pretty well with the rest of the leg. But it may be slightly coarser and darker.

Tips for first Tattoo:

  • Never have Tattoo on empty stomach. have your meal before going for Tattoo.
  • Take something sugary with you to boost your blood sugar.
  • Tip your artist (if he deserves).
  • Breath through your pain - natural reaction is to tense up and hold breath.
  • Wash your feet  before tattoo, the artist won't like your dirty smell.
  • No alcohol or painkillers before taking tattoos.
  • Don't be panic. Try to concentrate on the goal.

Great Article, you might want to add not to use Neosporin on your tattoo for it will lighten the color, only use A&D ointment and keep covered for the first two days, if it starts to scab do not pull it off, it will take away color, keep it moisturized. (my ex-husband is a tattoo artist)

I've never had a real tattoo yet, fear of pain has always kept me away from piercings and tattos. I I ever get brave enough to have one I would go for a little design in the back of my neck so it can only be seen when I wear my hair up!

Hey fortunerep, A&D is a really bad idea. You don't want to coat your tattoo with a petroleum-based product because infection can spread that way. The best thing, until the skin is fully closed, is pure cocoa butter or pure shea butter in a very, very thin coating.
