Pooja Chopra - Miss World 2009 Contestant
64Pooja Chopra, hails from Pune, aged 24 years was brought by her mother Neera Chopra with lot of financial and emotional difficulties as her father left their family in her early years.
Neera Chopra the mother of Pooja Chopra recollects that when Pooja was eight months in her womb, her husband brought a girl to the house and announced that he would marry her.
When Pooja was born, there was nobody to visit her and to see the child. The squadron leader's wife who was there in the opposite bed shared some clothes for the baby, and she has never seen her husband later.
She is now India's Latest Beauty Queen and has been representing the Miss World 2009 competition to be held in South Africa in December 2009.
On 12th December 2009, Miss World 2009 came to an end and Ms Gibraltor Kaiane Aldorino titled Miss World 2009

The Tiara Trains Pooja Chopra for Miss World 2009
Pooja Chopra trained by Pageant Coach Ritika Ramtri Kumar, Pageant Coach of The Tiara Pageant Training Studio won Femina Miss India World 2009 on 5th April 2009, at Mumbai. She also won Miss Body Beautiful and Miss Beautiful Smile. Before Pooja left Ritika trained her for Miss World 2009. She helped Pooja with her diction, vocabulary, pageant walk, stance, voice modulation, overall confidence and stage presence. Ritika and pageant aspirants from her school ‘The Tiara’ also helped Pooja with her cause ‘Save a Girl Child’. They put up several street plays all over the city. Her charity work for Nanhi Kali was also given an impetus by Pageant Coach Ritika Ramtri who brainstormed with Pooja to come up with several ways of generating funds.
Pageant Coach Ritika Ramtri Kumar who has trained several Femina Miss India, Gladrags Megamodel, and Haywards 5000 Mr. India, Grasim Mr. India, Gladrags Manhunt and Gladrags Megamodel winners. She is also the trainer of Miss Kerala 2008, MTV Scooty Teen Diva and was the Country Head for Miss Intercontinental 2008. Ritika coaches people for both national and international pageants.
