Hidden Truth about Taj Mahal, India

Recently BBC has announced that the whole world has been duped about the Taj Mahal in India. Prof. P.N.Oak has done research and tells that Taj mahal is not Queen Mumtaz tomb but it is an ancient Hindu temple palace of Lord Shiva, Tejo Mahalaya.

But, i am not entirely convinced of these Hindu temple theories. See, Akbar had tried to bring about the unity between Hindus and Muslim. So, when Shah Jahan became king, lot of Hindu things might have been objectionable. Since shah Jahan would not been free to supervise the day to day construction of Taj, it must have been lesser officials at the field who monitored the progress.

Lot of the Engineers, Masons, artisans involved in building the Taj must have been Hindus and under Emperor Akbar's rule, must have renewed their expertise in Hindu art taught to them by their fore-fathers.

The muslim officials too must have taken much interest because they knew it was not a mosque but just an indulgence of their king. the legacy of Akbar era of being non-hostile towards Hindus and their own disinterest in the king's fancy must have made them give a long role to the Hindu artisans who painted Hindu stuff. even the trident looking islamic crescent moon might have been fashionable those days.

Or, may be, it was a Tejo Mahalay! I don't care since I never cared about Taj Mahal in its first place.

I'm a little confused. Why did you write about something you didn't quite a it care about? it does seem to have quite a bit of Islamic architectural influences.

I think, oak was exactly not a fool. Because, we know very well that the contemporary emperors had tried to distort the facts and forced to historians to write the history according to them. So if there had been any other option to dislike this article, I would definitly dislike it.

The title sucked me straight into the article, which was a disappointment. Perhaps you could have elaborated further. Who is Prof. PN Oak and what kind of evidence does he have any way? Sincerely...
