Villu Movie Review

Villu is a movie produced by Ayngaran International Film Pvt. Ltd. The cast includes Vijay, Nayantara, Prakash raj, Vadivelu. Music is scored by Devi Sri Prasad and movie directed by Prabhu Deva.

Villu is the straight version of Hindi Movie "Soldier". In this movie Vijay is not having much punhc dialogues. he has impressed his fans with his actions in fights and gathering sentiments.

Ravi Varman's cinematography is hazed in foreign locales and make the movie a poor production.

This movie is only for diehard Vijay Fans.

For those who does'nt like to watch any new things in cinemas it is just an entertainer to some extent.

As a rigid formula everyone in the theatre expect only a Mass entertainer from ‘Pugazh’-Vijay, and Prabhu Deva has done his best to maintain all the elements needed to give a complete Vijay movie - with super hero intro, romance ,comedy, several fights, item songs and finally hero wins over the baddies.

Villu’s story is reminiscent of the prehistoric Tamil cinema formulas – son taking revenge over his father’s killers to satiate his mother’s wishes. And of course, there is time for love, double crossing, comedy and some sentiments in the midst.

Hero Pugazh is introduced as a loca area super hero who is helping the poor and the needy. He acts as a villu of a senior police officer and follow his instructions seriously. In his mission he targets the international Dada's and as a part of his mission he makes to love Nayantara (Jhanvi), who as expected is villain prakashraj's daughter.

Nayan’s presence serves the purpose of eye candy – she wears micro minis (she even asks you so in one of the songs), bras disguised as tops, dangerously low-waist skirts and spaghetti tops. Although Vadivelu’s unimaginative comedy track (yes, the track has absolutely no connection whatsoever with the movie’s main plot) is boisterous and loud, it serves as a saving grace for the movie in many instances.
